Half hogget
A hogget offers a richer, more robust flavor compared to lamb, with a unique depth that comes from the animal's age—typically between one and two years on the moor.
Hogget has a more pronounced, almost gamey taste, pairing well with earthy herbs and spices. Hogget is tender but holds up well to slow cooking, roasting, and even grilling.
The half hogget weighs a minimum of 8kg, and will include:
2 x half shoulder joints
2 x half leg joints
Cutlets
Chops
Breast plate
Neck chops
Kidney
Free delivery to mainland UK is included, either by us for local orders or via DPD for farther locations. Your lamb will arrive chilled in a wool-insulated box with ice packs.
The half hogget will take up approximately one drawer in your freezer.
